Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WeddingBills website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using WeddingBills, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The WeddingBills Platform

WeddingBills is a software platform that enables wedding professionals, planners, businesses, and couples to collaborate on contracts, project management, communication, and payments.

WeddingBills does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice and is not a party to contracts entered into between users.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

You are responsible for ensuring anyone accessing your account complies with these Terms.

3. User Roles and Responsibilities

WeddingBills supports multiple user types, including:

  • Wedding professionals and vendors
  • Event planners
  • Couples and individual clients

Each user is solely responsible for:

  • The content they upload or share
  • The contracts they create or sign
  • Their communications, services, and obligations to other users

WeddingBills does not verify the accuracy or legality of user-generated content.

4. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payments

a. Subscription Plans

Certain features of the Services require a paid subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, usage limits, and applicable transaction fees are disclosed at the time of purchase.

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as required by law.

b. Payment Processing and Stripe Connect

WeddingBills uses third-party payment processors, including Stripe Connect, to facilitate payments between users.

By using the payment features, you agree to:

  • Stripe’s Services Agreement and applicable policies
  • Provide accurate and complete payment and identity information
  • Allow WeddingBills and Stripe to process transactions, fees, and payouts. WeddingBills may charge a platform transaction fee on payments processed through the Services. Unless otherwise disclosed at the time of payment or in an applicable subscription plan, this fee will be 1% of the total amount charged to the customer.

WeddingBills is not responsible for resolving payment disputes between users.

c. Transaction Fees

Transaction fees may apply to payments processed through the Services and will be disclosed prior to or at the time of payment.

d. Disputed Charges and Administrative Fee

If a payment processed through the Services is disputed, charged back, or reversed for any reason (including customer disputes or fraud claims), WeddingBills may incur administrative, processing, and support costs.

In such cases, WeddingBills reserves the right to charge the responsible user an administrative fee of up to $299 per disputed transaction, in addition to any fees imposed by the payment processor or card network, to the extent permitted by law.

This administrative fee is intended to cover the costs associated with dispute handling, documentation, and coordination with payment processors, and is separate from any amounts refunded or reversed. The administrative fee will only apply if WeddingBills actively participates in the dispute process and incurs costs related to dispute handling.

e. Authorization to Charge

By using the Services, you authorize WeddingBills to charge applicable subscription fees, transaction fees, dispute-related fees, and administrative fees to your designated payment method.

13. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver

a. Mandatory Arbitration

Except as described below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration, rather than in court.

The arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis and administered by a nationally recognized arbitration provider (such as the American Arbitration Association) under its applicable rules. The arbitration will take place in Collin County, Texas, unless the parties agree otherwise.

The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement.

b. Exceptions to Arbitration

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek:

  • Injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent unauthorized use, misuse, or infringement of intellectual property or confidential information
  • Relief in small claims court, if the claim qualifies and remains on an individual basis

Such actions shall be brought in the courts located in Collin County, Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

c. Class Action Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that disputes must be brought on an individual basis only, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, representative, or consolidated action.

The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.

d. Texas Consumer Carve-Out

If you are an individual consumer residing in Texas and applicable law prohibits the enforcement of mandatory arbitration or class action waivers for a particular claim, this arbitration agreement will not apply to that claim, and such claim may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, unless otherwise required by law.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights or remedies available to consumers under Texas law.

e. Opt-Out Right

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by providing written notice to WeddingBills within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, by emailing support@weddingbills.com with your full name and account email address. Opting out will not affect any other provision of these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

WeddingBills may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
